    cpalmatier thumbnail
cpalmatier the finest sound design for staying calm in an increasingly not-at-all-calm world. Favorite track: Looked Me Right In The Eye.
    bertarbeitsspeicher thumbnail
bertarbeitsspeicher I love the whole journey
especially the vocal tracks have a deepness rooting in human imperfection

    fav:
    First Iota (feat. Angelina Nonaj)
    ggnall thumbnail
ggnall Signature quiet deepness. The vocal tracks were jarring at first but growing on me. Favorite track: Yoke.

    henrydarger thumbnail
henrydarger The mood of this album is calm, all the rage of early times transformed into reflection and observation. Simon Huw Jones is traveling with his charming voice. Actually I could not listen to the music of And also the Trees for some time, but this album with its relaxed mood hooked me again.. Favorite track: Ypsilon.
    Lev-P thumbnail

    mike-rix thumbnail
mike-rix Not the usual kind of album in my collection. Shaped by traditional acoustic instruments and enriched by Catherine Graindorge’s strings (Singer Simon H. Jones appears in return on her lyrical Songs for the Dead), The Devil’s Door has an distinctive sound. And Also the Trees remain one of the few authentic survivors of the early 1980s new wave. I sometimes miss the more energetic side of the band, heard in Shaletown, Feeling Fine, and Slow Pulse Boy. Still, The Devil’s Door is a remarkable album. Favorite track: I lit a light.
    Souldriver thumbnail
Souldriver A comforting warmth, a luminous darkness...this band is so unique and beautiful. And so is "The Silver Key". Can't wait to add "The Devil's Door" to my growing AATT collection.
    matso70 thumbnail
matso70 C'est tout simplement un concentré de ce que AATT peut faire de mieux. Un très grand album.
Ca dépasse en fait la discographie du groupe. Cet album devrait finir dans toute discothèque honnête. Favorite track: The Rifleman's wedding.

Musicfan1 I'm so glad i have this in my collection now....i really am encapsulated in something so beautiful and hugely colossal in it's musical form...i teeter on the edge of my mind, but with grounded pleasure; as this takes over....a way to describe exactly what i feel as i listen...favorite track. Kether... Favorite track: Kether.
    Jono Schneider thumbnail
Jono Schneider Insane heavy Zeuhl with a plethora of riffs, and then it takes off and goes to some other planet. Will be cranking this all year.
    blox thumbnail
blox Unforgiven like SWANS or IGORRR, but not like any of those two brilliant bands, or any other band for that matter. This is music -or maybe more a feeling than just music, it's -sounds you could play to your friends from the Netherworld, if you have any of that sort, from down there -below- Devilish good! Favorite track: The Celestial Bull and the White Lady.
