    Beulah thumbnail
Beulah I really thank this album for helping me cope with my grief and all things sad. This is a incredibly special album to me as well and I really like how the beginning of Earth to Ursa Major starts off with making us feel like the Ursa Major is replying to us with the piano and the guitar. Which helps make the lyrics hit deeper with the help of some backup vocals. Then to this slowed down pace which makes me feel like the pain has engulfed the singer and still trying to have hope. 💙🐻‍❄️ Favorite track: earth to ursa major.
    the marbles thumbnail
the marbles this album is such a gorgeous ode to queer love, pain and community - communion, in a way; that it genuinely inspired me to get my bandcamp account set up to buy it when jordaan mason released this album. <3 i would 1000% recommend it. Favorite track: why fit?.
    harrisonmichiels thumbnail

    chicken egg: O thumbnail
chicken egg: O The ocean curls over itself, then over itself again, endlessly deepening, each wave folding back into the shadow of another wave, and within each shadow, another ocean awaits. All of this, yet light enough to float your breath away.
    The Questionable Question thumbnail
The Questionable Question Reviewed in A Dead Spot of Light Magazine #28. Over forty-three minutes of solo piano in one long piece. Music that hovers in a room and refuses to engage directly. Chords move in quiet succession, reverberations fill the space. Warm, melancholic and distant — like nature itself. Nothing polished, nothing removed, all preserved.

Larke G. I WANT TO HEAR IT.
Muffin's music is such a source of comfort to me these days - oscillating between screaming rage, spiraling confusion, and finding quiet in the moments between. Favorite track: Identity crisis.
    fracturedstar thumbnail
fracturedstar Picking a favourite from this album was hard. The entire album is incredible, and really helped me. Thank you muffin <3 Favorite track: I fell for the male personification of human Satan.
    spots thumbnail
spots An unfiltered and unbridled full-length that captures the countless complexities in a coming-of-age discovery of identity, belonging, and existing in a world that scares the shit out of you. From breakneck slammers that yearn to be put to stage, to slower ballads that showcase the diverse range of Muffin Fox’s sound, there is something for everyone on this stellar emo showing. Favorite track: NEO from the matrix was trans actually.
     thumbnail
Midwest Emo about change, burgeoning adulthood and the death of innocence. There's some really incredible thematic presence in the lyrics and a natural evolution of Muffin's production skills on full display. Love the layering effects, experimentation with electronic sounds, and strong vocals. Favorite track: Abby.
