𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖒 𝖒𝖊𝖆𝖑 An ascetic (though mighty) sound palette, works as a canvas for an unrivaled lecture about rhythm generation & composition in electronic music.
Straight from the outermost post and beyond the explored areas of this micro universe, from where Yves De Mey sends us back his findings.
Now I’m trying to remember what was I doing back in September that prevented me from grabbing this instantly.

DRUMGEWITTER yves, what a badass you are! great!
    Finn of Tomland thumbnail
Finn of Tomland Yves De Mey is one of those artists that never ever seems to stop to amaze me because with every release he has taken his vast skills and creativity one step ahead of what i even thought that he would come up with and for that i'm forever grateful.
This is a release filled to the brim with experimental syncopated rhythms and on top of that sound design to die for.
    In short, a must have.

Finn of Tomland A sparse brooding piano over a vast ever evolving analogue soundscape produced by the sonic maestro Yves De Mey makes me smile and smile a lot, especially when i noticed the only 2 "rhythmic" sounds at about 3/4 into this almost 40 minutes track.
And as usual when it comes to an Yves De Mey release, this comes very very highly recommended.

Finn of Tomland I'm so happy that this wonderful release became available for us that didn't have a subscription because i knew it was out there but out of reach and that was a gap in my Yves De Mey collection that was totally nagging me.
And this piece with it's 5 piano chords that ever so slowly dissolves at the end is just extra + nice and then some.
    A must have gem.

drone2805 Do you know Mister Vida that I expect you to produce another powerful drone album like this one ?! Definitely one of the most powerful electronic drone albums I have heard. It is much too major for one to be content with one !!! Favorite track: Reducing The Tempo To Zero (Part 4).

dcashley Love all your work but this one I can really feel the frequencies. Track 2 is just incredibly calming
    xcxchcx thumbnail
xcxchcx Aleksi's beatless work is some of the most calming and beautiful frequency baths. This latest addition only adds to the sorcery and is highly welcomed. Track 2 has been on repeat since I had the pleasure of owning this work and the feeling it gives me is indescribable, somewhere between pure joy and endless longing. Rays. Favorite track: FI3AC2613702.
