steee Why is this so good? Is it the guitar? Is it the goofy accent? Is it the piano? Actually it's the way she says "hot clown"
    Venus In Furs thumbnail
Venus In Furs This track has such a beautiful improvised quality to it... Its like I can just imagine it being constructed in zero time, in my mind's eye. I heard this track for the first time on Hannah's Designer tour in Santa Barbara, CA. Very strangely I happened upon Hannah purely by chance twice in one hour just before this show in two strange moments of synchronicity... Life is very strange...

    Torsten thumbnail
Torsten Mary Halvorson’s 9 year old recording is all what it needs to be, bold, playful, inventive, and a bit “weird” as she might put it. An absolute joy to listen to, never too abstract to completely lose track of rhythm and never, never boring. MH has got the rare ability to stimulate brain and heart at the same time. Just wish they would reissue her 2 first albums on vinyl. Favorite track: Hemorrhaging Smiles (No. 25).

    Robert Castle thumbnail
Robert Castle Monk's music just never gets old. This is an especially exciting interpretation of some of his work, a fiery but tuneful free jazz homage. Favorite track: Bye-Ya / Epistrophy.
    martelnine thumbnail
martelnine It’s remarkable how this band can disassemble and then reconstruct, rearrange, re-articulate and expand Monk’s music while still making it recognizable.
Another amazing recording. Favorite track: Round Midnight.
    arcana thumbnail
arcana The Organic Soul Machine Monks-up Monk. Outstanding! Heads be spinning. 'Bout time, too. Evidence kicks hard, like a giraffe. The world is fractured, and it is beautiful. Favorite track: Friday Thirteenth.

Daniele Mantovani amo questo disco poiché la chitarra viene suonata in modo sublime. Queste composizioni di Marc Ribot sono estremamente piacevoli e toccano l'animo umano in profondità. (almeno il mio).
