uwe1973 I really like the opener, however the whole album is a immersive journey. Epic metal with a touch of Maiden and Trouble. Melancholic and playful. Great record! Favorite track: The Cormorant.

lunarvesperia I can't fully express how lucky i felt to discover this gem. First experience with Lunar Shadow, it was mind-blowing to me. Favorite track: The Ventures Of Bombadil.
    ultii thumbnail
ultii I've been a fan of this band since the get-go, and this really might be the best riffage yet. Good work Max! Favorite track: The Ventures Of Bombadil.

BoneWalker True demo sound, as if you're in the studio during the recording! This is DOOM, heavy and raw, stripped to the bone and yet tasty as it gets! If you like Land of Stone, you should check the band's debut, Astral Iron, too - my review in Forgotten Scroll Heavy Metal Magazine: www.forgotten-scroll.net/metal-reviews/astral-iron/ Favorite track: Cirith Ungol (Reverend Bizarre)*.

Olly This band is pure US power metal. Like bands that I have always admired and have seen live, such as CRIMSON GLORY, SANCTUARY, QUEENSRYCHE. I am so grateful that such great old school metal comes from Germany. Thank you and all the best. Favorite track: Another I Beckons.

sashavonkarl74 Found the newer album first but decided to give this one a try as well based on user recommendations and oh boy I’m happy I did. Really EPIC !! Great melodies and a great voice ! Greek mythology or art of war, symphonic marches onto magical places of our imagination… what a trip!! Loved it Favorite track: The Hunter.
    caffeinatedmetalhead thumbnail
caffeinatedmetalhead I'd first given The Mad King a listen and had to download this album shortly afterward. Mildly surprised to see Yannis Papadopoulos of Beast in Black attached to the project, but it's an absolute banger with some clear Iron Maiden influences in the opening track. Overall a fantastic listen and a must have for anyone looking to add to their NWOTHM collection. Favorite track: The Path Of The Warrior.
