Harold N’Hiver What I love about Corrupted is that some of their material is straightforward doom, while some of it is anything but straightforward, forsaking traditional arrangements and structures in favor of atmosphere and a more experimental approach. This record here, the Japanese band’s latest, definitely falls into the latter category. And it is a masterpiece.

GIRAGATHON this glorious miasmic sickery of sound utterly fucking killz
    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal It's doom, very sludgy and very punishing. The first two songs are Celtic Frost riffs with Eyehategod tones. Esclavo is a 10-minute death crawl that drags you through feedback and smoke. You're doomed, and you're going to like it. Favorite track: Bajo De Cero.

edjrmorpheus95 Formerly known as "Anthrospray: Music for Extinction Renaissance" I first listened to the original release of this underrated release from James Ferraro in 2020. 3 years later, I had no idea this prophetic piece of media has been released in his Bandcamp, and although there are differences between this version and the original, it is a pleasure to experience a prophetic view of consumerism, artificial intelligence, and manufacturing of food in a new form. Favorite track: Fetus.

mikey It's debatable, but this is his best New Age/LoFi album. I think a majority of listeners resonate with this one more than the others because we all yearn for that over-saturated yet hyper-futuristic world that this album creates. Pair it with Ferraro's signature dark undertones and you have an insanely memorable and vivid experience. i@sia FOREVER Favorite track: iv Beyond real.

booonbooon Probably the Ferraro album that took the longest to grow on me, but grew the most. Once you grow to love it, there's nothing else like it. If you're on this page, you probably already know that he's a genius, and this album seems to prove it over and over. The dense, lo-fi soundscapes actually benefit nicely from the remastered audio, revealing the layers of complexity and strangeness it took to make this album, while also giving hints at the style he would fully embrace on Far Side Virtual. Favorite track: iAsia.
