shotgun suicide This album fucking rips, as usual.

Do you like black, thrash, or speed metal? If so, stop reading and start listening.

All hail the goat! Favorite track: Hunderprest.
    FriendlyGenderlessGoblin thumbnail
FriendlyGenderlessGoblin This album totally Rips. James is such a talented individual. The Crushing guitar work with the Hellish Shreiks OMG.
Hellripper never disappoints. All Hail The Goat. Favorite track: Kinchyle (Goatkraft and Granite).
    Bart thumbnail
Bart Just like their last album, at first I didn't take to it, then I was loving it. Same thing here. They are still firmly in the blackened thrash vein, but keep playing and expanding their music. The solos get a bit lond-winded for me, but holy hell, the primary riffs are just complicated yet unforgettable. Yes it's awesome as we hoped. Now let's get some live dates in the U.S. Favorite track: Baobhan Sith (Waltz of the Damned).

    Alienmold thumbnail
Alienmold This is such a dumb album. It's so fucking stupid. And I love it. I love the synth-y 80's drums, the combination of synth wave and slam really does it for me.

I'm also not sure I've heard a intro into a song that goes harder than the start of this album. Favorite track: All We Really Are Is Livestock.
    sunnygee thumbnail
sunnygee Take all the aesthetics and vibes and yes, some of the unsavory bits of the late 90s and early 2000s Americana nerdom culture. Now shake it in a blender and take a swig. This album is the taste in musical form. Favorite track: The Fog.
    Big T thumbnail
Big T I like my death metal with Tim Capello and Robocop Favorite track: Pizza Time (feat. Belushi Speed Ball).
    Hayden Uhler thumbnail
Hayden Uhler I think that this album is a step up in basically every aspect, song writing, humor, general flow. Seriously awesome stuff and I'm a sucker for movie and video game themes/references. Favorite track: The Fog.

    Swimming Poole thumbnail
Swimming Poole This album is what I love about modern day death metal. It sounds dark and brutal but at the same time I can hear the punk influence and it really just kicks the song writing up a notch. The genre blending is so fantastic and well executed. Do yourself a favor and go check this out. The album is short and sweet.

acaDamien This is vile, disgusting, horrific... and I love everything about this album. Crunchy, and brutal death metal with the gross lyrics just makes the best albums. Favorite track: Altar of Extracted Teeth (feat. Undeath).

nate’s death metal dungeon A sleeper hit for my 2024 best-of the year list. Excellent mix of blackened death/thrash with some traditional heavy metal element woven in. Plus that cover art and the overall layout is amazing. Get it!
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica With thanks to the tireless bmurator for making a review reference that contractually obligated me to check out this album (even though I will always defend Yngwie’s honour), I must agree with all of the praise for Malicide. It takes a lot for a heavy metal album (yes, there is thrash and death here) to pull my attention away from BM and DM, but Molten are such riff-crafters, and the Wilkinson production job is so meaty, that I was hooked. This is simply very heavy, impactful, and fun! Favorite track: Festering Anamnesis.
Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) thumbnail
Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) Gross and ugly in the best of ways, and a blast to listen to start to finish. Favorite track: Malicide.

    cypsee thumbnail
cypsee there's something really cohesive and rewarding about this record's atmosphere. it's very believably tomb-like and foreboding, with some of the same elements i love about replicant but packaged into a more OSDM leaning form with more digestible vocal delivery. great riffs and excellent mixing. Favorite track: Servo.
    JDMP thumbnail
JDMP i only wish it was longer. otherwise, this is a sublime slab of death metal. something compelling, something demanding, something…oblique
