    timthetangent thumbnail
Favorite track: Yor Zarad.

  2. Vol.1
    by Angine de Poitrine
    supported by
    Summer thumbnail
Summer Angine de Poitrine, brings new fun and life into prog rock in both presentation and sound. I think if you like Cassiopeia you'll like them. Alternatively if you're transgender you will probably like them as well. Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.
    sassychicken17 thumbnail
sassychicken17 This album breaks my brain in the best of ways. From the innovative microtonal sounds to the time signature shifts, my mind and body are fully engaged with every track. Bandcamp has the audacity to force me to choose exactly one favorite song, but they are all great tracks! Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.

    thas2s thumbnail
thas2s This album proved to me that Cindy Lee is the most talented / exciting guitarist and project of the decade. This album really does feel like flegel has fully stepped into the persona of Cindy Lee, forgoing a lot of the production of previous albums that were more akin to stuff on women. “Diamond Jubilee” is a musical journey by the artist Cindy Lee, not Patrick flegel. ITS PERFECT! Favorite track: 24/7 Heaven.

  5. Realms of Exquisite Morbidity
    by Malignant Altar
    supported by
    DenverMetalhead1-7-8 thumbnail
DenverMetalhead1-7-8 Unlike any death metal I've heard, too bad they split up. Best wishes in their future projects. Favorite track: Channeling Impure Apparitions.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra The platonic ideal of a modern deathmetal ep. Bass booms and rumbles like a motherf*cker and the drums lay waste to civilizations.

Fantastic guitar tone, threatening in the tremolos, crushing in the breaks. Generally confident and agile.

Outstanding outing by Malignant Altar. Five stars. Favorite track: Ceremonial Decapitator.
    wallbarr thumbnail
wallbarr Extremely dark, foreboding, and nihilistic death metal from Texas - A shame that they disbanded before reaching their true potential. Favorite track: Ceremonial Decapitator.

    featured track 00:00/00:00
Only Ash and Dust Only Ash and Dust

    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal It's just magnificent. Any of these tunes would be centerpiece highlights on other bands' albums, but here they're simply collected into a "didn't make the album" EP. Incredible. They're dark and epic, with songwriting and performances to die for. The closing re-orchestration - cover is far too puny a word - of the Mayhem song re-imagines it as an apocalyptic nightmare that would make Euronymous proud, I think. Favorite track: De Mysteriis Doom Sathanas.
    BegravementEzra thumbnail
BegravementEzra So lucky to get new Crypt Sermon TWO YEARS IN A ROW! One of the best current bands for sure Favorite track: Only Ash and Dust.
    HaroldAllnut thumbnail
HaroldAllnut The piercing shrieks near the end of "De Mysteriis Doom Sathanas" show off Brooks Wilson at the height of his powers. Favorite track: De Mysteriis Doom Sathanas.

Vicky THIS SHIT MAKES YOU, MAKE MOVES MAN! HAHA FUCKIN KILLER!
    Metallurgical Fire thumbnail
Metallurgical Fire 200 Stab Wounds is probably the best classic brutal death band in the world right now, but maybe not quite as good as Suffocation in their prime. I neglected this band for no good reason. Don’t make my mistake.

    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction Compared to other OSDM, this is not that heavy but leans more into a punk aesthetic. Lots of subtle tempo variations give it a live feel. Favorite track: Release the Stench.
