DAS VILLAIN Some of Chromeo's releases are hit/miss with me, but their latest release is a return to form. Yet, at the same time, the band has matured with an (pun intended) adult contemporary/AOR sound without sacrificing their sound nor forsaking their roots. Adult Contempary is reminiscent of the old school soul/R&B (circa mid-1970's through mid-1980's and the electro/electro funk of the early-through-mid 1980's) but with an elevated, updated sound. This is music for the sex-positive adults! Favorite track: Replacements (feat. La Roux).
