   matt von d a treasure trove of an album—hope, fear, anger, and joy. like the band’s name implies, there’s an acknowledgment of beauty and futility and finding meaning in waging impossible struggles, that pervades this album. there are some succinct bangers on here for anyone looking for an erudite post-rock/post-hardcore quick fix, but the two mammoth songs at the end are worth every moment to listen to as they unfurl. Favorite track: Trouble.
