JC "Pilgrimage of Loathing" was as amazing as that title sounds. Here we are, almost 10 years later, and when bandcamp said Make was releasing another album, that was an instant LP preorder. J. Wright Reviews I first discovered Russian Circles in 2020, through this album. Now, with the anniversary sale, I knew I had to grab a CD copy! This album has the absolute perfect blend of heaviness, atmosphere and melody and the songs are written to give you just the right amount of each before switching things up. Some post-metal can almost overstay its welcome but Station doesn't have that flaw. Everything flows with perfection! Favorite track: Verses.
