Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Entre Tudo que é Visto e Oculto, premier album de Bríi (qui est aussi derrière Kaatayra), déjoue toutes les attentes — et quand je dis toutes, c'est vraiment toutes. C'est précisément pour cette raison que vous allez adorer cet album, tout du moins si vous faites preuve d'ouverture d'esprit. Organique par les éléments robotiques ("Sabedoria de Tudo que é Oculto"), à des années-lumière tout en étant profondément viscéral ("A Hora da Morte"), cet album est une expérience totale et avant-gardiste. Favorite track: A Hora da Morte.

carnivaloftrees The darker approach Caio has with this project is always interesting to me. In particular the first song progresses in a dark, techno rhythmical style accented by walls and lines of guitars up until the outstanding metal outro. I just love what Caio is able to do and how creative he approaches all his albums. It's always a different experience. Everything he makes deserves a proper active listen. Favorite track: Caos e Ordem Tiveram um Neto.

Kir Ikslor What a brilliant piece of work! Really is unlike any other BM band I've heard. The whole thing is great start to finish. More please!

Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Esperança é um Pai que Abandona est un morceau composé spécialement pour une compilation — que je vous recommande : de grands artistes (Esoctrilihum, Spectral Lore, An Isolated Mind, etc.) y participent — et où Bríi adopte pour la première fois un ton politique, relatant la descente en enfer d'une personne qui bascule dans la pauvreté. Traçant une spirale, le black metal laisse éclater une colère brûlante mais il est vite absorbé par de l'electro. L'aliénation se produit en temps réel. Puissant.

𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡 The storm gathers slowly and it makes you feel restless and then, the tumultous roaring begins accompanied by slicing riffs and heavy rainlike beat. It's the beautiful soundtrack of armageddon that cleanses your inner caverns and guides you to salvation through all levels of turmoil. What a journey!

carnivaloftrees Super underrated compared to the rest of Caio Lemos' work. This is a great track that gets better and better the more I listen to it. This is somewhat darker than his usual work and I absolutely love it. The double guitar work that goes on for almost the entire track is something that deserves your full attention. It even builds toward a triple (four?) guitar line for the outro. Impressive stuff.

Nuno Lourenço yeah, there are connections here with my life....and with my music too. A must-buy at first listen.

Sam Raw black metal mixed with electronic beats works so well together here! Favorite track: Alienígena Interior.

Der Ohlsen "In four long tracks once again Bríi hallucinates its weird dream of Ambient powered up with Electronic club sounds infused with Post Rock and smashed down by brutal epic Black Metal. Many movements on this album flow into each other very smoothly, others are sudden absurd bursts. And both approaches work on this exciting, highly unpredictable album."

bmurator Atmospheric Black Metal from Brazil. It never ceases to amaze me how artists can take local musical themes & develop them to a completely logical & almost inevitable BM conclusion! So it is here & It is also done in a totally beautiful & passionate way. Yet another exciting project whose discography I am going to have to dig into! Highly recommended!!!

Jono Schneider Genius one man post everything ever - heavy in a million different ways

𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡 I am such a sucker for Bríi's experimental approach. My favorite of Caio Lemos projects though they are all groundbreaking. But Bríi has it all and flirts with such vast range of genres that you never know what's around the corner.

RJ Bríi have been pushing the boundaries of what black metal can be only since 2020, but this project seems so much more seasoned than that. An inspiringly unique blend of blast beats, aggression, piano, ambiance, atmosphere, avant-garde, and electronic elements. For me this is Bríi's best work to date. 8/10

sleepyheadphone I think this is Bríi's best mix of (acoustic) metal and electronic elements yet! really cohesive, wonderfully sequenced, and the thematic focus on spirits is such an interesting conceptual tie-in with the trance elements, musically and literally Favorite track: Enlutados.
