Clone604 It appears those early SUN releases were merely a scratch of the surface of what awaited in Kris's archives. What a delicious feast for the senses and soul. Brilliant arrangements and production by Kris, paired with phenomenal restoration and mastering from Colin. Thanks for this wonderful contribution to the deep history of this important musical movement, Kris! ❤️ Favorite track: Life Support System (Mindscape Mix II).
    Soulstone thumbnail
Soulstone Nothing less than the best Goa release in years! Favorite track: Trip To Dimensions (Live Mix).

    by Morbid Angel
    supported by
    caleb thumbnail
caleb beast of an album. Invocation is 10 minutes of riffs upon riffs. Hellspawn is unrelenting from start to finish. Prayer of Hatred and Nothing Is Not get me moving EVERY time. killer album, second only to Gateways.

edit: aight this might be their best.... it's a close one Favorite track: Nothing Is Not.
    Cadavre_Sombre (Midgard_OBM) thumbnail
Cadavre_Sombre (Midgard_OBM) What a great record, one of my favorites from the band! Killer riffs, vocals from the depths well loud and guttural, massive attack of blast beats, the mix is just perfect and the cover art is awesome. Death Metal kvlt and a fabulous album.
    grahamy thumbnail
grahamy My favorite Tucker-era Morbid Angel by a long shot. Basically on par with their first 3 albums as far as songwriting is concerned. Maybe the monotonous (but still solid) vocals and silly instrumental tracks detract a little, but this remains a work of masters and a true highlight of the genre. Favorite track: Nothing Is Not.

  4. Somewhere Sadness Wanders
    by Drudkh
    supported by
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: The NIght Walks Towards Her Throne.
    Sumoschro thumbnail
Sumoschro Sweeping and majestic, the interlude like the eye of the storm, giving time to contemplate what's just transpired before being borne by the wind again. Favorite track: All Shades of Silence.
    Eric thumbnail
Eric Drudkh does it again. At this point, I am baffled. Every single thing they touch is gold. Best split of 2017 without a doubt. Favorite track: The NIght Walks Towards Her Throne.

pepp14 Wow this 1981 Classic has so much energy it's like Buddy Guy went crazy on this album. I call this the crazy blues album you can feel Buddy Guys energy on this album especially on You've been gone too long. This album is a Stone Cold Classic its a must have. Buddy Guy just tearing up the blues as usual. Thank you Alligator Records for putting this Classic out on Bandcamp. Buddy Guy just goes wild with his guitar playing on this album wow I'm blown away. Very special album to me. Favorite track: You've Been Gone Too Long.
    3cd thumbnail
3cd The Starfire IV era. Rowdy. Commanding. Confident. When I think of Buddy, I think of this recording. So strong, loose, and wailing. Recorded on Halloween 1979 in France. Scary. And so real. A finest moment. Favorite track: You've Been Gone Too Long.
