caleb beast of an album. Invocation is 10 minutes of riffs upon riffs. Hellspawn is unrelenting from start to finish. Prayer of Hatred and Nothing Is Not get me moving EVERY time. killer album, second only to Gateways.

edit: aight this might be their best.... it's a close one Favorite track: Nothing Is Not.

Cadavre_Sombre (Midgard_OBM) What a great record, one of my favorites from the band! Killer riffs, vocals from the depths well loud and guttural, massive attack of blast beats, the mix is just perfect and the cover art is awesome. Death Metal kvlt and a fabulous album.

grahamy My favorite Tucker-era Morbid Angel by a long shot. Basically on par with their first 3 albums as far as songwriting is concerned. Maybe the monotonous (but still solid) vocals and silly instrumental tracks detract a little, but this remains a work of masters and a true highlight of the genre. Favorite track: Nothing Is Not.

Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Avec Somewhere Sadness Wanders, Drudkh achève sa trilogie de splits et, cette fois, le groupe ukrainien s'associe avec ce monument du black metal atmosphérique qu'est Paysage d'Hiver. Une fois n'est pas coutume : seule la contribution de Drudkh est présente mais on ressent qu'il cherche à se mettre au même niveau que le one-man band suisse en étant un peu plus atmosphérique et même glacial, se permettant une interlude blackgaze. Mais elle est de courte durée : c'est la grêle qui tombe ici... Favorite track: The NIght Walks Towards Her Throne.

Sumoschro Sweeping and majestic, the interlude like the eye of the storm, giving time to contemplate what's just transpired before being borne by the wind again. Favorite track: All Shades of Silence.

Eric Drudkh does it again. At this point, I am baffled. Every single thing they touch is gold. Best split of 2017 without a doubt. Favorite track: The NIght Walks Towards Her Throne.
