Nick Suda I have always preferred this version of Quaristice. For whatever reason, these arrangements just hit me a little better than the originals. With the prominent exception of Perlence, which I vastly prefer the original release version. This version cuts out the "A section" completely while also neutering the impact of how heavy the "B section" is. Regardless, I loved this era of Autechre and think this is an underrated record within their broader discography. Favorite track: fol4.

William Denton The first track sets the scene, the second is a very short breather, and the third builds into a huge, driving, pulsing unstoppable force of danceable skronk.
