sashavonkarl74 Ukraine 1914 and Noise's Kanonenfieber are quite similar to me, in many aspects, the war-related topics, the orange color in the cover art (just kidding), the overall atmospehere, and some German lyrics as well. 1914 is more varied, this album is a masterful blend of BM, doom and the intro/outros are an essential part of the whole album, setting the tone, and this 1914 album is just as good as "The Blind..." IMHO. Favorite track: ...And a Cross Now Marks His Place (ft. Nick Holmes).

Abyssius Murkraken Brutal and intelligently written. This is an awesome black metal album based in historical themes.The whole album paints a war torn picture that leaves you yearning for more music as passionately made as this.
