Bertrand Marchal I discovered this band by chance with this album. I've been at once captivated by the smooth power of their doom, epic and lyrical, led by a beautiful melodic voice. If any traces of it remain here and there, the acrid greasy aftertaste of stoner rock has been seriously diluted compared to their previous releases, to my great satisfaction.

end.of.my.daze A little less meandering and whimsical than their last, but well made up for with aggressive and focused songwriting! Favorite track: Blood Moon.

Ken Hagdal Atmospheric stoner/doom. If you don't find it absolutely fantastic, I have a box of Q-tips for you. Favorite track: Blood Moon.

Stan Lubanski Wish I could live inside the last chorus of "Good Kisses". The whole album is great. Glad Qobuz highlighted Miso Extra when the album dropped in May. Favorite track: Good Kisses (feat. Metronomy).

Lute FP This album is fantastic. Driving rhythms, tasteful synths, and haunting vocals with attitude.

Another reviewer called this modern trip-hop, but it ain’t that. This is definitely more in the vein of darkwave, electronic, and/or post-punk. Maybe even veering into industrial, for that matter. It reminds me of pre-breakup Munuit Machine and contemporary Donzii, two of the best synth-driven bands I have ever come across.

This album is amazing, if the flavor is up your alley.
