pandr1900 I was brought here after listening to a live performance of Makaya's on you tube. I instantly loved the song Holy Lands so much that I had to see if the album version was the same rendition as the live one. Then I listened to the whole album! Universal Beings is a just a groove... It's a mix of traditional and something new, very nice. Favorite track: Holy Lands (feat. Brandee Younger).

Rudi The audience at the sold-out bee-flat/Progr in Bern listened in awe to Dhafer Youssef and his band on this October evening; at times, you could hear a pin drop. That voice and that wonderful, spiritual music with its sometimes subtle funky groove from this album and also Street of Minarets is incredible! And Dhafer looked so blissful on stage. Favorite track: The Epistle of Love (Pt. 3).
