  2. Eons
    by Mighty Old Redwood

    maxlphillips thumbnail
maxlphillips More than anything, “Eons” is a methodological exploration of feedback. A deep dive into dissonance. The five-disc LP, and Mighty Old Redwood as a project, is oftentimes compared to Natural Snow Buildings – but there is something in this album more awake, arguably more uncompromising, that sets it apart from those titans, and from the rest of the avant-folk drone sphere as a whole. A thoroughly enjoyable six hours. Favorite track: Swallowed and Encompassed by a Mass of Swirling Tentacles Part I.
    Judiciary-Synthland thumbnail
Judiciary-Synthland Close enough, welcome back NSB Favorite track: God Monster of The Indian Flats.
    irkedangel thumbnail
irkedangel A thick, nocturnal haze hovers over your vision... You are lost in a dense, black forest, where the tree trunks are dark and crisp, where dead branches flicker in frigid moonlight, and the lurking abyss of voidal night haunts every step you take deeper into the marshy wilderness. You have nothing to guide you but the falling stars, and Eons more to traverse. Favorite track: Stars Fall Into Forest Spoon.
    albertguy thumbnail
albertguy Nothing but savory delights. Massive, yet small and analogue. Brilliant Noise. No other notes. Favorite track: Eons.

    epicenterofcool thumbnail
epicenterofcool Easily one of the most-soul crushing albums made that I've ever heard. Such straightforward but extremely effective sample flips and one of, if not the single the truest human expressions in all of Vaporwave music. Favorite track: esc.

quadkanix Absolutely no doubt in my mind that this is one of my favourite albums of all time and I feel extraordinarily lucky that I know the person who made this. Some of the most insane, noisy yet beautiful IDM production I've ever heard. It is a wonderfully creative mind that created this album. Favorite track: Daughters.
    dodecahedrons_ thumbnail
dodecahedrons_ this has grown to being genuinely my favorite album maybe ever Favorite track: Stepfather/Stepbrother/Uncle.
