  2. Journey to Voltus B LP
    by HENGE
    supported by
    Teasy thumbnail
Teasy Great live experience, we had a lot of fun. Favorite track: Slingshot.
    Gleanie thumbnail
Gleanie I think this is Henge at their most focused and polished. The album structure is clear and compelling, the distribution of cartoonishness/chiptune and spacy psychedelia across the runtime feels perfect, and even the songs themselves feel more straightforward than before, without giving up any of their complexity, zaniness, or creativity.
Really Slingshot is the only song that feels like a standalone pop tune, everything else seems to serve the overall album experience - and they do it well! Favorite track: Ascending.
    PIDGE thumbnail
PIDGE This album seems a little more grounded than previous albums. Less goofy and more interesting space rock. I’m a fan if they keep this up. Similar to Tong. Favorite track: Hypersleep.

    dcdirkzwager thumbnail
dcdirkzwager a sublime stoner album! Favorite track: Ragdoll.
    Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP A little Uncle Acid, a little Hot Lunch, and a whole lot of their own thing. It’s hard rock, with a metal heart and psychedelic soul. It’s got groove, and it’s absolutely killer.
    Who Gives A Fuzz? thumbnail
Who Gives A Fuzz? Red Sun Atacama bring heavy punk fury covered in a thick layer of desert dust and drenched in sweat.
    This album is pure genius.
"Sundown" feels like going to bed after a long day at a busy rock festival.
The entire day has been great, but being warmly hugged by this comfy blanket afterwards feels like bliss. Favorite track: Ragdoll.

    Ethros thumbnail
Ethros just a banger from beginning to end. Crushes with a down low stoner groove that chugs along like a train to the pit of your soul. Favorite track: Void Cleaner.
    Dirtbox thumbnail
Dirtbox This is some of the best mixed and pressed vinyl I’ve ever heard. So fat and heavy. I’m looking forward to Vol. II.
    Risto Haavistu thumbnail
Risto Haavistu This record is just amazing. Strong personal "album of the year" contender Favorite track: Void Cleaner.

    Aleph thumbnail
Aleph As far as i remember, no african or "africanlike"music hits me like this one. Pure blues and pure rock 'n roll mixed with the purest sound of the african desert. Suddenly, Cream meets gnawa feelings in an indescribable mix of energy. Please listen to this masterpiece from begenning to end, it is full of surprises. One of the best I have heard in so many years. Waiting for it, and then it came.
