    markus zett thumbnail
markus zett this is so grand and moving. it always gets to me and rekindles my longing for the woods. i discovered it parallel to reading richard power's »the overstory« for which it seems the perfect soundtrack, but it is a beautiful work of art in it's own right. Favorite track: Root to Leaf.
    Espressobuzz thumbnail
Espressobuzz I learned that a friend had passed away unexpectedly in Mexico while I was listening to Root to Leaf. She was a beautiful soul & I felt like she was stopping by to say goodbye with this music. Favorite track: Root to Leaf.

    richardw27 thumbnail
richardw27 What a joy to find this on bandcamp, having missed out on the vinyl rerelease. I'd only heard Strawberry Window prior to this, but I love that song and have done since first hosting it on Radio Scotland, back in the late 80s. This is exactly my kind of music, layered, anthemic guitars and great melodies. At times, it brings to mind another great lost band, The Train Set. Fabulous stuff.
    uriolot thumbnail
uriolot Just discovered this band and bad to buy the LP. Fine and brilliant guitar chords 👌
    Matthew Nangle thumbnail
Matthew Nangle I've Been Listening and Collecting Independent Music Records for A While Now. Rarely do you come across a Band that really surprises your ears and you hear something truly Special. Cult Classic Drop Out X2 disc, and Hotrod Hotel display brilliantly Kellys Mastery of the 12 String Guitar and the Groups tight-knit sound. These Guys and Wykes (also in Dolly Mixture, Birdie) were way ahead of their time.. Real Pioneers Echoing reverb from the 60's Psychedelic Groups in Modern C86 Stylistic Fashion.

    earlick thumbnail
earlick Some synth music makes me think of the speakers it comes out of in addition to the evocative imagery that always comes with it. That is, it remains as grounded in its material conditions as possible. It would have been incredible to hear this live—a strange and beautiful odyssey. Somehow still punk rock in the best, anti dogmatic sense.
