These are sonically engaging arrangements that stick closely to the source material interspersed with virtuosic and soulful solos. Amazing job! Hopefully we get a chance down the track to listen to those two missing tunes in the album art! Favorite track: Dragonspiral Tower.

Nate Stevens I got a corpo buddy of mine to play this at his startup. The corpos had no idea it was Pokemon and requested it stay on loop. Rad. Oh yes, also, this is fantastic stuff! Favorite track: Littleroot Town.

casperdewith I love the first track. Mostly for its fantastic intro & outro. (Which is in minor, though the main song is in major. Yet it works!) Favorite track: The Legend of Zelda.

tim_the_curator These guys are truly at home in both jazz and these “standards” from Hyrule. They make the tunes sound totally native to both worlds, and that’s no small achievement. From the featherlight touch on the piano, to the easygoing confidence of the snare drum brushes, to every subtle trill and flourish of the bass, this is something truly special. Thank the golden goddesses they’re also pressing to vinyl.
