swordpvnk This is Archspire's best offering to date. Which is high praise considering Bleed the Future was a masterpiece. These guys don't take themselves too seriously and they have every reason too considering the sheer talent exuding from every single one of them. This i think is their best quality as a band. Inhuman musical ability, paired with extremely down to earth human personalities. Never stop making music you crazy bastards.
    3fireterrell thumbnail
3fireterrell Everything about this album is perfect. From the instrumentals to the vocals, all the songs pack a punch!!! Favorite track: Limb of Leviticus.
    WelcomeToBohnkers thumbnail
WelcomeToBohnkers What's this music about? 🤔 I don't wanna hear like "Oh, F**k! All this is beautifully played! Hey, yo! Listen to this blast!" No, f**k it. Bring back the f**king danger in the music!

After a 5 year wait, Archspire finally brought back the danger!!! And are just as fast as ever. Lots of tasty riffs, sweeps, bass solos, everything you'd expect from one of the best in the Tech-death business! Favorite track: Carrion Ladder.

    truemithrandir thumbnail
truemithrandir Bludgeon you with a hammer at all angles and tempos, plenty stop-and-go SLAMS too amidst the fast technical riffing. Spot-on perfect heavy production too. Favorite track: Vile Ascendancy of Biomechanical Tyrants: Inception of Mechanized Carnage.
    locknar thumbnail
locknar One of the sickest albums of the year. Well worth the rather high price tag Favorite track: Calamitous Astral Interconnection: Spiritual Enigma of a Shattered Cosmos.

orkghoul She's already got a great discography of genre defying experimental albums under her belt, but this album is special. A culmination of such unique ideas that you won't hear anything like this anywhere else. Some of her most wild yet most accessible work yet, phenomenal Favorite track: The Plaice.
    great_kahuna thumbnail
great_kahuna An inventive, mind-blowing, courageous, and heart-wrenching album. I can't stop myself from listening again and again Favorite track: Love From Survivors.
    Brent Davis thumbnail
Brent Davis Otay:Onii is entirely new to me...

I wasn't prepared for how intense, how exceptional an album Love Is In The Shit would prove to be - beautiful, unnerving, quirky -- experimental, challenging, yet highly listenable alt-pop.

✌️♥️🤘🇿🇦 Favorite track: Tears Won't Tell.

    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One Probably the heaviest album by Brutal Truth. 'Walking Corpse' is my favorite here — brutal and intense. 1:07 in 'Ill-Neglect' is wild. Brutal Truth doesn't fuck around. Favorite track: Walking Corpse.

    cevered thumbnail
cevered A dense and varied release bringing to mind the modern Ulcerate albums, and modern avant DM bands like Fractal Generator, Aenigmatum, Gigan, and Vitriol. I actually prefer this album to any one Vitriol realise. Brutal and dissonant at times, beaut and melodic at others, it seems like they bridge the gap between dissodeath and melodic black/death metal really well. Awesome piece by a very under-the-radar, hidden gem band! Favorite track: Traversing the Black Arc.
    Dan Curhan thumbnail
Dan Curhan THIS RIFFS! This leans into some of Ulcerate's angular chords and chaotic drums, but heavily filtered through a pure death metal lens. Dissodeath happened, so let's take it back to its roots. It's fun, aggressive, chunky, and engaging throughout. Fuck yeah!
    Ronnie Lacey thumbnail
Ronnie Lacey I like my dissonance with a side of Beef. Favorite track: Sunken Veil.

    Dmitry Nevozhay thumbnail
Dmitry Nevozhay Brilliantly intricate brutal/slamming tech death. Like Atheist on steriods or crossbreed of Defeated Sanity with Suffocation, and Carcass with Watchtower. Also reminds me early 90/92 Atrocity (ger), Seance (swe), and Last Sacrament. Favorite track: Corruption of Fauna.

Matt Medeiros What is in the water in Indonesia? The quality of brutal death metal from the Java region is insane. This record is an unrelenting onslaught in the tradition of classics like Disgorge and Brodequin. Comatose records DOES NOT miss! Favorite track: Labyrinth of Torment.
