maddog11 I am really enjoying the new Magenta album it is definitely a 5 out 5 album with all tracks being stellar. My first impression was how much it reminded me of Renaissance and sure enough upon reading Robert Reeds note on Bandcamp he details his fondness of Renaissance.
Rhidian Williams Beautifully melodic, with Rob's customary attention to musical detail. The influences are worn slightly more lightly, and this lets the songs stand on their own two feet, which they're more than capable of doing. Excellent backing harmonies. And the etudes work brilliantly, as spacers, as showcases for Chris, and in themselves. Bravo! Favorite track: The World.
Jed L Another excellent album from Magenta. If you enjoyed their previous albums, and also like the band Renaissance, you'll certainly enjoy this one just as much.more...

Nickie Harte Kelly From Claremont, CA, enter Djam Karet, who are no newbies to the progressive scene. This is a continuation of their explorations into psych and electronica, with an emphasis, however on acoustic instrumentation. Dense, articulate and cerebral. Title track is my favourite. Favorite track: A Sky Full Of Stars For A Roof.
Carsten Pieper Colorful instrumental prog with quite a folky / world musically touch in places. Very rewarding listening!
And yes, in my case, "America's greatest undiscovered band" fits a 100 percent. They have been around for more than 30 years and this is our first encounter... Unbelievable! Favorite track: Beyond The Frontier.
