I know rock is supposed to be a young person's game, but think about what happens, over a period of decades, if you keep at it. You can keep getting better at your instrument, learn a broader range of musical forms, and become a more generous collaborator. Take away the pressure to produce hits, to crank out product, and great music can result. This album is evidence. The Pink Room wins as fave because of the bass vamp, holding all the tension together, like Circle in the Round.
Favorite track: The Pink Room.
