Mubla Na Thguob A departure from what I expected from AFI, but very welcome indeed. This sounds like a greatest hits album from an 80's goth band, and I can't get enough of it. AFI have outdone themselves! Favorite track: Blasphemy & Excess.

lorddon From the release of Behind The Clock I knew this AFI album was going to be my jam. I grew up during the 80's heyday of goth and post punk and they've recreated that sound with an AFI twist. No skips and it was hard choosing a favorite, though Jade's guitars during the bridge on Holy Visions pushed it to the top. Favorite track: Holy Visions.more...

Instrumentation is provided by the usual suspects (keyboards, electric guitars, bass, and drums), It runs the gamut from eclectic prog to jazz, to my favourite track, which offers a psychy/folky female and male duet with Opeth vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt. ChasingNeon Otherworld is a Vibrantly Solid Album that doesn't follow trends. i love When Artists are true to themselves and id Say Jessie Frye is definitely Paving her Own Lipstick Red Path, and doing a great job with this Unapologetically Unshackled Masterpiece that is Otherworld.
