Wingman_77 An epic album with a calm atmosphere of classic, sequential electronica. Sound ribbons drifting in space in search of their place in harmony, sequential rhythm, and orderly melody motifs reigning over everything. Excellent for evening listening. Perge, as always, rose to the challenge. Thank you!
    Mark Tyrrell thumbnail
Mark Tyrrell Another great album from Perge with a superb set of tracks taking a new direction to reflect the new line up. Hope to hear more releases soon. Can’t decide between Pillar of the Boatmen or Botanique iii as my favourite, both have a depth and beauty to them. I’ll choose one, and then may change it later. Favorite track: Pillar of the Boatmen.
    Simon Pride thumbnail
Simon Pride A fantastic return to form. While TD fans will have fun playing "spot the reference", there's so much originality here too. A glorious achievement.

    ROMERIUM thumbnail
ROMERIUM The Cretan Tapes (Extended Version) by Thaneco offers an enjoyable experience with great sequences and excellent synth melodies. It features a cinematic style that resembles the work of Tangerine Dream, where each track creates a distinct ambiance. A must-listen for fans of berlin school and atmospheric electronic music!
It is difficult to choose between tracks 1, 3, 4, 5, and 10 that left the biggest impression on me. Favorite track: The Phaistos Disc.

jchansen The tracks on this album are more melodic than one might expect from Astral Waves, but it's deeper than that. It's almost as If Zen listened to every one of those great albums released by Altar records over the years, cherry-picked the best parts, and mashed them into something fresh and fantastic Favorite track: Sacred Transmissions (Album Version).

Gedfan DCD have still got it. Not sure if Lisa is on it, but marvellous voice and track from Brendan. More next month....thank you.
    Antithetical thumbnail
Antithetical I love these synth sounds, and Brendan's voice sounds wonderful here. Overall the sound reminds me of Brendan's second solo alb, Ark. The lyrics have taken a dark turn but revisit themes found in "Song of the Dispossessed."
