pfctdayelise Elana was one of my Woodford chance discoveries this year and I'm enjoying being able to listen to this album on repeat. Tight, varied indie/art pop. Favorite track: Oregon.

pacific rim progressive rock Elana Stone has been presenting highlights of her new album - while on tour as support for Kate Miller-Heidke. She is a memorable, witty storyteller and a talented performer. The works traverse family relationships to concerns about environmental breakdown. Married to the Sound, People Come and Go, Oregon, and Cephalopods are standout tracks. Favorite track: People Come and People Go.

Colin While I love pretty much everything Belleruche did, this album is special. Beyond Katherin DeBoer's unique and stunning voice, this album goes in a psych-rock direction that just takes off and creates one of the strangest but most addicting combinations I've ever heard. This one takes a lot of bottled up angst and smooths it out, an the result is just magical. Favorite track: Get More.
