    magoski collapsing skyscraper—
steel ribs exposed, concrete organs dangling—
    down

    What is the word
For a kiss in a bunker under occupied airspace?
For living when living is rationed?
We don’t have words for this.
    So we braid realities instead—
because braiding is rebellion: taking things that don’t belong together
and forcing the universe to hold them in one hand.
War, thirst, desire, service, music, survival—
woven into one unbearable, undeniable thread. Favorite track: False Prophet.
    The_Diesel_44 thumbnail
The_Diesel_44 This is why real-world record stores are so important. I would never have come across this corking album had it not been playing in store as I was browsing the vinyl. An album that perfectly captures very late night clubbing - somewhat ominous, melancholy and hypnotic all at once. Favorite track: Host.
    Aleister Burney thumbnail
Aleister Burney A new take on Goth that also takes inspiration from danceable post punk. A very forward looking record Favorite track: Ascension.

brainbg This album has real depth. It carries a sense of presence and invited me in—not just to listen, but to meet. I like to imagine I meet Alison Lewis in the undertow, swimming with skill and clarity, face to face. The sound is tense, dark, and minimal—controlled with precision. There is pain, but the balance makes it a kind of dance. It’s a display of emotional agility—clinical, exact, yet immersive. Maybe I’ve said too much, but this is an album I return to again and again. Favorite track: Lamanai.
    Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Darkwave at its finest. Electronic music that vibes the 80s and is dark, gloomy, and danceable. But the music isn’t the product, it’s the vocals that inform the aesthetic. Heavy and soft, powerful and fragile; darkness at its finest. It’s haunting and moody.

Reminds me a lot of France’s Minuit Machine, whose first two LPs were influential in my delving into retro 80s post-punk and electronica.
    Anathe Mal thumbnail
Anathe Mal Linea Aspera tracks were needles in my playlists that would stick with every listen. Isidious rhythms Ryan lays down, skillfully infectious voice of Alison- it was inevitable I'd love darkwave properly with their dilligent innoculations. Favorite track: Preservation Bias.

Pwnage765 I will never eat at McDonnell's or Kentucky Fried Man again. 10/10 Favorite track: Ghost-Boster.
    Camp_Crystal_Lake thumbnail
Camp_Crystal_Lake Art for the modern mind! Based on the 2016 original horror comedy film "Ghostbusters," this album uses synthesized instruments to convey metaphysical concepts. The afterlife, and a reality in which such a concept knowingly exists, is prominently displayed alongside humanity's struggles. This album tells of loss, sorrow, and pain in the context of a blurred life and death.
Basically, Joel farted on the Ghostbusters theme but made something truly great. It's fun and hilarious, just like him! Favorite track: Ghostbusterz.

justsquigglez As a night stock manager this song speaks to me. I may not work in a warehouse specifically, but hot damn do I relate to a majority of this. And it's just a groovy banger altogether.
