  1. Ægo Templo
    by DELUGE
    supported by

    Goldsaftbube thumbnail
Goldsaftbube Has its ups, and has its downs. Love that they're experimenting with their sound, did not hit my sweetspot – yet, I recommend buying it. Favorite track: Opprobre.
    r-nain- thumbnail
r-nain- If you're expected to hear the same Deluge you heard on Aether maybe you will be disapointed or at least surprised at the first listening ! But there is everything in this second album that have made the first one amazing ! And for sure Deluge will not do the same over and over so you will find here a lot of experimentation and new ideas ! The more I listen this Aego Templo the more I discover new things the more I love it. Magique tout simplement Favorite track: Gloire Au Silence.
    Alice M. thumbnail
Alice M. Déluge comes back after five years, and the relentless downpour has morphed into a whole weather system. The band is still recognizable thanks to its thematics and resonant “dwooonwg” strums, but they really took it to the next level, and brushed away my fears (a clone of Æther would not have cut it).
Oh and nice to have some intelligible French here and there. Favorite track: Baïne.

    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Russian Folk / Doom Metal. But Kauan needs no introduction as they have created album after album full of simply stunning and beautiful melodies & so it is here. This is not for every day for me but, when the time is just right, nothing else will do... :) Highly recommended!!!

  4. Myesis
    by Telesterion
    supported by
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian I have been fascinated with the Eleusinian Mysteries since I first learned about them in college. With this release tracing the experience of an initiate into the Mysteries, Telesterion has rekindled that fire in me. Imagine stepping into the darkened temple, flickering shadows dancing on the walls, sweet incense thickening the air and opening the mind and spirit to Demeter, wrathful and loving Mother of All on the living Earth.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator US Progressive Doom / Post-Metal. The Post-Metal is particularly noticeable here. They are along the same line as Thumos, a little more "post" & a little less "doom" but just as awesome all the way! Highly recommended! Favorite track: Libations/Fleece of Zeus.
    Darknight thumbnail
Darknight Myesis is definitely the best release so far from the stunningly post metal enigma which is Telesterion. They keep on surprising the hell out of me, pushing there sound into new depths and new territory, amazing four tracks that evolve into more each time you listen. A must buy for any post metaller fan. Favorite track: Arrival/Seekers.
    Back Off Warchild. Seriously. thumbnail
Back Off Warchild. Seriously. This just gets deeper and deeper. Each one takes me further down the rabbit hole. Favorite track: Libations/Fleece of Zeus.

funkhundd karmafish is absolutely right. You need to Turn this motherfucker Up!
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Death Metal from Finland. This is very old school. Unfortunately, the vocals are slightly far away most of the time but you could argue this fits in with the overall style... :) Thanks Satanath! Recommended! Favorite track: Last Journey North.

chiaczar The full blown musicality of this album is enough to recommend it, but the unbridled emotion of each track carries this album to S-tier status. Favorite track: All On Red.
