Normally, I would have chosen "Blessings Upon The Field Where Blades Will Flood" as the best track on this album, but this track is so good that I also bought it as a single. So I'm choosing the second best track, "The Overwhelming Harmony of Collective Suffering." The vocal melody is simply so beautiful, I could listen to it on repeat. Favorite track: The Overwhelming Harmony of Collective Suffering.
    Winslinator thumbnail
Winslinator My new favorite album from Mechina. Loved every second of it. Favorite track: Bellum Interruptum.

RangerToby Another uplifting and transcendent journey. Can't wait to see you guys back in Ireland soon. Favorite track: Spheres (Ft. Freyja).
    Nickie Harte Kelly thumbnail
Nickie Harte Kelly UK Neo-Classical, Ambient, Post rock duo, here joined by some guests on vocals, additional guitars, cello and other strings. Primary instrumentation provided by the mysteriously named Rôka on cymbals, skins and bowed guitar, and Löki serving up piano, synths, trumpet and horns. This is cerebral music that invites mental landscapes in to the listener’s mind as emotional ebbs and flows are ably provided by the duo and their cohorts. Favorite track: Convergence.
    Mood Exhibit thumbnail
Mood Exhibit Wow. What a comeback! Nordic Giants fully deliver in their amazing post rock cinematic style. Emotive and powerful. Grand piano melodies, bombastic percussion, soaring guitars- such a great album full of excellent instrumentation and feeling. This will definitely be in my top album list for 2022. Bravo guys! This could very well be your best album yet! Favorite track: Spheres (Ft. Freyja).

doive I seem to remember this one as my second purchase from their available catalogue at that point.
The word had been spreading a while back already and on a wide scale about a 'Mass Effect Metal Music' feeling which I do share as well obviously, the compositions are massive and thoroughly written, also Mel and Dave are both imposing and skilled vocalists, each of them in their own specific way yet the synergy operates perfectly. I'll definitely keep coming back for more, Word up MECHINA ♫ Favorite track: Praise Hydrus.
    _shadowstorm_ thumbnail
_shadowstorm_ Starts out strong and ends with a trio of masterpieces. Totemic and Venator don't stand up to the rest of it, but it's still mostly solid. Softer than their earlier albums and less experimental than Cenotaph's best - it's a comfort album, if not a standout one compared to Siege, which is the same general style with more complexity and better cohesion. Good for when you just want some Mechina music without becoming too absorbed in it. Favorite track: The Embers of Old Earth.
    Jamal AKA Mal thumbnail
Jamal AKA Mal This album is great my biggest regret will never seeing any of these songs being performed live in concert. I also felt like this was just a Mechina Album the character journey was missing and that niche is why I listen to Mechina to escape. See you in 2023 where I hope Mechina takes me to another world.
