  1. Woo'd Early
    by Free Dust
    supported by
    Scott thumbnail
Scott This is guitar ambience that doesn't settle for draping the listener with cloying, inactive drones like a warm weighted blanket - this music achieves its calming effect by opening things up just enough to relieve any pressure I'm feeling. "Miss'd" fills the room with its clean tones while simultaneously creating the effect of it being a much larger space than it is when at high volume.

The record has a cleaner sound than one might expect from color vinyl and was well-protected for mailing. Favorite track: Miss'd.

  3. Dwell Time
    by T.R. Jordan
    supported by
    Sharoyko Andrey thumbnail
Sharoyko Andrey Masterfully executed and impressively composed, this album, which blends ambient elements with lo-fi field recordings, immerses you in a meditation reminiscent of a pleasant and slightly nostalgic dream. Favorite track: Repeat Cognition.
    Manuel thumbnail
Manuel I always loved T.R. Jordan's works but at first, this album didn't catched my attention. Now Dwell Time has slowly become one of my favorite albums of 2022.
Another amazing work from TRJ and RAI 🤍 Favorite track: Time Decay.
    apollo1967 thumbnail
apollo1967 This work is far more than in between and background. Tracks such as Encoder Error and Recall Loop delve into an essential sound, the kind of thing we need to understand about ourselves before it is too late. Put this magnificent work on a loop. One of the best things I have heard in twenty years.

    UNCRN JNKI thumbnail
UNCRN JNKI Providing it's the EP version that I prefer, no one has ever sung-spoke of kitchen larder, Richard Hell, juicing watermelons, Scott Walker, Kanye, and Shellac in one go, to the extent I'd readily get shades, anxious of roadmen, if i wasn't -5 Dioptre.
    VAST DEFERENS thumbnail
VAST DEFERENS Still my fave BCNR track and they've not made any bad ones, but I complain anyway and in in a basement living room I become her father and write bandcamp reviews by nights and feed the woodchipper by day...

Lute FP Ethio jazz meets Lounge Lizards. This is oh so fucking good.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper The Sorcerers combine their Ethio jazz roots with a nice space age vibe on their latest album. Summer places remind me of the Budos Band (e.g. the opener, Echos of Earth) and in my opinion, that's always a good thing ;-) Favorite track: Abandoned Satellites.

    The Tonearm thumbnail
The Tonearm "Even with what is called my solo album, it's obviously not just me. Lots of people have contributed so much to it. And I always want a feeling of other people collaborating in the room. But, you know, nobody is an island, right? None of us embodies just one person. We embody loads of people who have been part of our lives, so I want the music to feel like that as well."

Check out our interview with Momoko Gill on The Tonearm ✨→ www.thetonearm.com/the-lush-detours-of-momoko-gill/ Favorite track: No Others.
    ramiewnibor thumbnail

    Somerled thumbnail
Somerled Somewhat different from their first album, this one still somehow retains a vibe that conveys happiness and satisfaction in life. Though the lyrics are not always reflective of the sound they produce (in as so far as to how they feel), but if you take them as learning experiences and the knowledge to the composer(s) that this is just life...
To me this is a piece of art that says to enjoy life for what it is and what it brings that is good.
Very enjoyable from start to finish. Favorite track: Drown.
