m҉ a҉ r҉ i҉ a҉ n҉ o҉ My favorite Arthur collection. Even decades after he’s left us we still get blessed by more of his music. Kudos to his estate and Audika for always doing right by his work.
    Dave thumbnail
Dave The second half in particular--from "Hey! How Does Everybody Know" onward--has some of the best production of anything recorded in the eighties. Colorful, singular, and astoundingly musical--it's a cool sequence. Happy this is being re-released on vinyl.

    wgs1230 thumbnail
wgs1230 I just had the pleasure of seeing Joan and her band perform many of these songs at The Colony in Woodstock, a lovely room whose owners bravely claim will hold 200 people. If she should pass your way sometime soon, don't miss the chance to hear one of the truly great singer-songwriters of our generation in person. Favorite track: High On The Mountain.
    Paul Jeffrey thumbnail
Paul Jeffrey Joan Shelley inspires me to be a better songwriter; simply brilliant. Favorite track: Teal.
    Pete Brown thumbnail
Pete Brown We live in absurd times, but at least we have Joan Shelley's exquisite music. It always helps. Her voice is a warm hug to the soul. Joan Shelley and Nathan Salsburg are minor deities, etc.
    Favorite track: all of 'em
