kingofthechickens More awesome from these folks. caught 2 of the full band shows and they were excellent too. Flippin' good noises made by people who clearly love what they do. Wrap yer lugholes around it and enjoy.

hag There's such a special, untimely presence to James's music, a kind of honesty that floors me. Tugs the heart strings in a beautiful, life affiming way. Favorite track: A Forestful Of Rogues.
    Neil Harrison thumbnail
Neil Harrison Sam and Jeanie McGreagor is such a thing of beauty. vocally, lyrically , musically ... perfect. ends and leaves me wanting more - which this album supplies in copious amounts. little pieces of imperfect perfection. Favorite track: Sam and Jeanie McGreagor.

Ursula's Crow I love Nina for her contribution to Sparklehorse's 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Here, her voice blends soothingly with James Yorkston's vocals.

purplefinch I found this cassette tape in a used bookstore many years ago. Always Coming Home is one of my favorite books in the world, and I was so bummed when my one tape player broke and I couldn't listen anymore. THANK YOU for re-releasing this magical, evocative, strange music! A wonderful way to celebrate the life of the late Ursula Leguin.
