I didn't think this would beat her previous works, but hell, while a ballad centric project, it very well is in the discussion for her best work to date! Favorite track: History of Violence.

Backxwash is exploring personal pain through the lens of religious metaphor, radical theory and global injustice. There are recurring preoccupations from her previous work - overdose, greyhound buses, demonic possession. Her body of work is like a cloud of mirrors, reflecting emotional fragments; as the cloud grows we see more but it becomes more metaphorical and indistinct. Favorite track: History of Violence.
