  1. Spontaneous Music Live
    by SML
    supported by
    wilson-c thumbnail
wilson-c Wonderful album and great sounding. The extended live tracks in my view work so well and a preference over the shorter tracks on prior studio albums. Favorite track: The Drums.
    Tim Hughes thumbnail
Tim Hughes Incredible. The skill of each member is clearly on display here but the palpable feeling of joy it conveys is what really makes it for me!
    mattgraupman thumbnail
mattgraupman Some painters build up their pieces by using dozens and dozens of thin, nearly imperceptibly different layers of paint, until they've created a work of art that's incredibly deep and rich. That's what SML have done with "Spontaneous Music Live." Musically, of course. Each little addition or subtraction pays off beautifully as these tracks twist and morph and blossom. Amazing work. Favorite track: Roundabouts.

    Jack Lynch thumbnail
Jack Lynch It is both personal and universal, radiant and somber, grounding and transcendent, contemporary and timeless; this record is a true masterpiece and Wendy's best yet
    TeeDubyaBee thumbnail
TeeDubyaBee A sublime album. Not since Jim O'Rourke's Simple Songs have I felt this kind of combination of heart swell and tickled synapses. Favorite track: Old Myth Dying.

Favorite track: Good Friends Call Me E.
    hotgrapes thumbnail
hotgrapes so quietly beautiful Favorite track: Solid Stone.
    lionvalley thumbnail
lionvalley A beautiful album, sad and sultry, with sparse but rich instrumentation that pulls the listener through. I wouldn't have expected something in the jazz vocal tradition from the Shelter Press label, but that framework illustrates how Glass has developed her own space for her album debut. Favorite track: Good Friends Call Me E.

Levrikon On Asa Breed, Matthew Dear goes from a clubby dance producer to a totally singular dance-influenced Davids Byrne/Bowie style crooner. If you like LCD Soundsystem-style genre hopping, you'll dig Asa Breed. Favorite track: Deserter.

Adrien Tibi Figurative, contemplative, abstract yet extremely organic. The most magnetic record of 2020! Favorite track: Elephant.
    C://FNFN thumbnail
C://FNFN Simply truly beautiful from start to end ; it sounds rich, true, recorded straight with few elements but where each has its own life ; I deeply love when a Posh I manages to merge acoustic and digital, analog life turned poetical and political. A big thumb up, kissed & soaked in honey on this album. Favorite track: The Heart Of Things.
    Tampertronics thumbnail
Tampertronics Comforting yet sinister; a great mix between organic and synthesis. The cumulative effect of this album is something really special. I was sold from the first track, but it continues to grow on me every time I listen. Favorite track: Touch And Vision.
