  1. The Nocturnes Of Iswylm
    by Stormkeep
    supported by
    Igor thumbnail
Igor The album art was what initially caught my attention (besides the obvious reasons...) because it looks very 90's-esque... Still I would say it is worth mentioning that it took 1 one track to make me blind purchase this... I have high hopes for this band and album! But so far I can already tell I will become a fan! I will add more when the full album drops... but man... I'm already excited! Favorite track: Carnal Tapestries Of Nailtorn Flesh.
    Not RomanPort thumbnail
Not RomanPort nice rack \m/ Favorite track: Imperious Sanguine Eroticism.
    Arrogant Bastard thumbnail
Arrogant Bastard My previous lodging at the Stormkeep, I found myself regaled of tales from other times. I suspect this visit will be altogether... different.

    Clover! thumbnail
Clover! If you're a fan of grind or metal or other guitar music that makes noises you haven't heard before then this is a pretty good One Of Those. Favorite track: Blood Porridge Tower.
    Seb thumbnail
Seb First of all, the band cites excellent videogames as an influence, they also consider themselves a "metaphysical goregrind" band, and finally... well, their music is a titanic blast. It's goregrind, but expect smart strange sound design, discrete unsettling keyboards that adds to the sick atmosphere, a varied, organic songwriting, and of course, overall madness and brutality. I'm a huge advocate for bands that make their genre evolve without comprising it. This is one.
    TheDeckCrusher thumbnail
TheDeckCrusher This album is a breath of fresh air in the goregrind genre! What an awesome album, continually chaotic, great gurgling spews, and something fresh around every corner! Highly recommend this. Hats off to Encephalic Productions for the excellent production and packaging. Great label. Favorite track: Gallon of Cyberdream Emissions.
    brutaltryptamine2 thumbnail
brutaltryptamine2 absolutely incredible tape. originality galore. super fucked up in every way. strange in the best of ways. killing it Mr. Brents Favorite track: Splattered Spiritual Bacterium.

    Kavka thumbnail
Kavka The riffs hit hard. The atmosphere is dark. The death metal is blackened. ACAB. Inspiring stuff. Favorite track: Light the Last Sun.

    Kirk Gauthier thumbnail
Kirk Gauthier Some absolutely crushing industrial with some dub thrown in to add a little spice. This is like nothing you’ve heard before and may never hear again, so dance now while the dancing’s good. My suggestion: turn it up loud so the dancing is even better. Favorite track: Mold.
    Jon Michael thumbnail
Jon Michael Pressed play. Head started bobbing. 45 ish minutes later, head stopped bobbing. Good times.
    MetalDipshit thumbnail
MetalDipshit Heavy, grimy industrial that balances its abrasive atmosphere with impeccable deep grooves. Favorite track: FU4111.

    by Argento

    caggac thumbnail
caggac This album truly is madness. The songs are so gross and terrifying. The guitar is filthy and raw, the drums sound like they were recorded in a cavern in Hell. The base is deep and droning, and the vocals are just pure insanity. This album is a trip. Favorite track: Born In a Grave.

    whointheareyou? thumbnail
whointheareyou? AOTY for 2023, yes yes indeed. But peggy should've not remastered this, this album sounds ood than the OG version, I'm only buying ts just bc it's my fav album from Devaughn plus imma be real. The production on this album is INSANE, esp on 'God Loves You' I've been bumping this song forever and I love visualing things in my head while listening to ts. I hope peggy's new album is something like this, if not. That's fine, hopefully I'll fw it so I'll have an excuse to go to his concert. Favorite track: God Loves You.
    spoonfullish thumbnail
spoonfullish i love this BUT i wish that buying the original version wouldnt have gave you the remastered tracks. yea i have a preference so what Favorite track: Kingdom Hearts Key (ft. redveil).

    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra A primal collision of two primitive horrors, mercifully consigned to the mists of legendary half-memory. Those who stare into the mists become the beast, those who flee them become the prey. Neither escapes. Favorite track: Ashen Remnants.
    Gremlin Monroe thumbnail
Gremlin Monroe One cave, two monsters: a grotesque cannibal and an unseen terror Favorite track: Gut Rot.
    Joachim thumbnail
Joachim What's not to love here? It's heavy, it's dirty, it's death metal that goes straight for the gut with a rusty shovel. Carcinoid is the better of the two bands but Charnel Altar doesn't fail to deliver.

The production really suits the music and so does the awesome artwork. Favorite track: Gut Rot.

elsyon Putrid, utterly repugnant grinding death metal incubated in the radioactive toxic sludge of a dying world. Submerged and drowning in the waste water of a thousand data centers. Contorted and warped until it resembles a primordial ooze of pure disdain and misery. Incredible work. Favorite track: Oceanic Pole Of Inaccessibility.
