underflux It's great to discover an artist that whilst not new to the DnB music scene is new to me. And now it feels like I'm going to have to buy his entire back catalogue. This is stripped down tech DnB that is so well thought out. 4 incredible tracks that are sonic magic. Love it. And plus if you buy the vinyl as I did you get a piece of Epods artwork on the cover.....come on it don't get better than that.
Unsane It's Azimov, it's Wormhole, it's Vangellis, it's no U turn. Buy it.

Blimey. The Duduk on track one got me first. By track 7 ‘Atmosphere’ I was pressing purchase just to get this slamming beauty primed and ready to blast out in my car this summer. Lots of styles on the cd and to be able to crank out music like this after such distinguished and lengthy careers is quite rare. Fresh, fun and lovely warm production throughout. The Tonearm "It's an ongoing project to try to get the guitar to work with dance music. Because just blasting solos out on top of a dance beat? That doesn't cut it. It's nice to play bits and have hints, to have various peaks and arrivals, but you have to do it with a lot more ingenuity."
