21bits Front to back, a funky, infectiously danceable electric sugar-rush. Saint Pepsi has a golden ear for samples and Hit Vibes proves that can be more than enough to carry a whole album. If this record doesn’t brighten up your day you need to check your pulse. Favorite track: Better.

silvacrypt One of the albums that kickstarted Future Funk. The added sidechain and electronic drums give all these songs a punch, making them much more enjoyable to listen to than the original samples ever were, at least to me.

The pitched down vocals give a sort of supernatural feel to these songs, it makes them more impactful in my opinion. Favorite track: Strawberry Lemonade.

Rob Porter A must-own for everyone's collection! This is Hip-Hop at it's finest, perfect for beginners. All members are insanely talented... You Never Knew, The Who, At The Helm, and Miles to the Sun are all epic. The Last One is my favorite though, Casual does one of the greatest opening Hip-Hop verses of all-time. Every track is incredible, you won't regret buying this one. Each member does a legendary freestyle track as well, Phesto's is my favorite. Favorite track: The Last One.

Nathan_is_happening Lyrical delivery is astounding, beats are terrific; this shit is spot-on. Quote of the day: "Rap ain't about bustin' caps and fuckin' bitches - it's about fluency with rhyming ingenuity". Favorite track: The Who.

Deidre House I love that you can tell Hieroglyphics put just as much effort into crafting beats as they do with the rhymes. So jazzy & funky. Anything with Del involved just has to be awesome. Favorite track: Off The Record.

Charlie This album instantly resonated with me when it came out. It’s a hidden gem from an era that seemed like the height of creative indie music. Favorite track: Nothing But Green Lights.

b33j Arguably the best record released in nearly 15 years that most people have still never heard. Playful yet soulful snark melded with such brilliant songwriting. This debut is still precision excellence all around years later and remains extremely underappreciated. Vek and his masterpiece deserve more recognition. 💙 Favorite track: A Little Word In Your Ear.

Johannes Duckeck 10 years later and still ahead of its time. Minimal production, maximum impact. Favorite track: Nothing But Green Lights.
