  4. Reflections Of The Eternal Line
by Florian Arbenz & Greg Osby
    supported by
    G.E Prince thumbnail
G.E Prince Here is an L.P that is not just alive, but sounds live. An album that sounds very tribal but yet every corner turned has different statements and directions. The conversations that Florian and Greg exchange are truly breathtaking, two men that will not just take you on a journey, but provide you with all the emotions that are within every step of that journey. This is a journey that will become timeless.
    Max Sommers thumbnail
Max Sommers I have always been an admirer of Greg Osby but Florian Arbenz was a new name to me. They have done something quite special here, in my opinion. Sax and percussion might seem a little sparse for a full album, but believe me, it is not. These are two musicians fantastically "in tune" with each other. Arbenz, all by himself, provides a rich an fascinating soundscape behind Osby's predictably intriguing playing, and the end result is totally absorbing. Highly recommended.

  5. Convergence
    by Convergence
    supported by
    Noel Megahey thumbnail
Noel Megahey Wonderful album that rewards repeated and close listening. Complex rhythms, lovely moods and a beautiful open production sound that lets you appreciate the musicianship of each of the international collaborators and the unique interplay between them that gives each track a different flavour. Favorite track: Edificio.
    Jazzfuel thumbnail
Jazzfuel I knew of most of these players individually before, but it's cool to hear them on the same record with this Convergence project!

Fast Lane is a track which I know originally from Florian's big band version (with the VEIN trio) so interesting to hear it now in this small-group setting. Favorite track: Fast Lane.
    G.E Prince thumbnail
G.E Prince This is the 3rd album I have bought involving Florian and yet again it’s without fault. This group of professional musicians have an ability to throw in a question and give themselves an immediate response. Other times they will play freely and then, in mid sentence, stop, and lead you along another aspect of their personality. It will often leave you immersed in the midst of superb individual harmonic structures. This is an album not to let slip through the net for any Jazz lover. Favorite track: Fast Lane.
