eryn zofia i really enjoyed the original - it was one of my favorite albums of that year. jesca is back with the stripped down version and the tracks are as fresh, and enjoyable, as ever.

jocelynbh Oh thank you Siobhan for giving me the perfect reason for taking Rosalía's LUX off my turntable! What a superb album Thaw is. Its beyond refreshing to hear such an intelligent, original record in these dark days...(and every bit as special as the aforementioned Rosalía) I love the sinuous textures, especially the bursts of guitar that jump in with just the right amount of swagger but which never outstay their welcome. I think you may be onto something with this music thing:-)
