nickytanty94 Years ago on old YouTube I saw this album pop up (for free) and I remember clicking on it and listening from back to front. The arrangements and flow were so skillful and creative and the musicianship stood out to me in a way that inspired me as an artist.

Nerve Salad I really know nothing of Sea and Cake, or of the artist's other endeavors, but there is something about this album that really stands out. It puts electronic music in a whole other realm, and raises the bar for the genre. The slow-burn tracks all blend into a singular moment frozen in time. Possibly an afternoon of nothing but the sun pouring in through the window and prisms dancing around the room. toastal This album is absolutely stellar and now one of my most listened to. It's nostalgic sounding and unlike music at the time for me, this provides me a bit of challenge and uniqueness that keep me coming back. I'm happy they've chosen their native language too as it brings extra authenticity to the sound.

angrypizza98 This is an interesting one. An odd mix of post rock and folk that blend into some otherworldly cacophony. Some of these songs feel so against melody, while others are drop dead gorgeous. Much like the odd structure on the cover it gives off such a weird feeling, but once you just wait, and wait, it will hit like a freight train. 8/10, could become higher with more listens, very excited for their new record!
