FallenAngel Full throttle psychedelic black metal and roll. That’s what I would call it. I would also call this aoty but it’s from ‘19 so..
Edit: just saw the first show of their ‘22 tour and boy you want to go!
    Inbred Time Machine thumbnail
Inbred Time Machine this is extremely inspirational
I've been a mental patient for very long but this sums it up... poor Gemini Favorite track: Carving The Voices.

Aerik Von The Trelldom was my favorite of last year and once again the man has produced something powerful and unique to everything he created before it. Now if I only had an extra $180 for the vinyl with the hair in it...
    Back Off Warchild. Seriously. thumbnail
Back Off Warchild. Seriously. I am a simp for Gaahl. Trelldom was my favorite album last year and this one is sounding like it could be the same for 2025.

hellbendervinyl Heck yeah Krigsgrav! The vinyl pressing for this record was lovingly handled by Hellbender Vinyl (hellbendervinyl.com) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Put it on your turntable and let it ride! Favorite track: Huntress of the Fire Moon (feat. Jens Rydén).
    Kelvin (Navajo/Diné) thumbnail
Kelvin (Navajo/Diné) The best atmospheric dissonant black metal to come out of Texas. It will drill black into your heart like a Texas oil well. Favorite track: Stormcaller.
    JColeman thumbnail
JColeman It's pretty cool. Has some blast beats and melodic stuff. I like it.
    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 In an interview (with Metal noise), Krigsgrav wrote that "their intention was to create the most complete album that took something from every era of the band, while still pushing their sound forward. A culmination of the blackest hues, doomiest of dirges, and most soaring of lead guitars". I agree that they did that, as this may well be their Magnum Opus. The closer is a next-level thing though! Favorite track: Womb:Death:Dawn.

heidima46 This is an unexpected surprise from Do Skonu. Instant buy of the physical copy. While it's a bit of a shame that the project has been put on hold, this brilliant record and "Pour Out Your Wrath..." are true black metal gems.

I also hope that Do Skonu will return one day with a new album, because I don't think such creativity and energy can be put on hold for long. Favorite track: The Great original limit (gateway to the new universe).
