    Julian O. thumbnail
Julian O. This makes me feel like I'm a European cowboy, riding through marshlands and mossy forests, lost in time. Favorite track: Göteborg.
    degelle thumbnail
degelle Spare and haunting, like the soundtrack for Jim Jarmusch's "Dead Man." Favorite track: Oslo, Part 1.
    Richard Madden thumbnail
Richard Madden Having stumbled across the 'On Dark Horses' documentary on YouTube a short while ago, it was good to find that this collection of tracks features the music playing in the background in that short film. Very chilled. Very cool. Very Ruth. Favorite track: Oslo, Part 2.

barockhaus Ich frage mich: warum habe ich das erst jetzt entdeckt? Eine mega klasse sound landscape gepaart mit einer einnehmenden und markanten Stimme. Das Ergebnis: einfach umwerfend.
    RJ thumbnail
RJ I first heard ERR when she collaborated with Thou on ‘May Our Chambers Be Full’ (which if you haven’t checked out I would highly recommend you do so) and was immediately drawn into her melancholic, folksy, gravely vocals. ‘On Dark Horses’ is an excellent cathartic expression of electric neofolk and post rock that I can’t stop listening to. 9/10 Favorite track: Races.
    NopeFace thumbnail
NopeFace Darkhorse changed my life. for the better. I've never cried so hard for a song, for a couple lines to come so close to the keening, to the evisceration of losing what I've lost, and to let that same song put me back together again. Thank you Emma. Favorite track: Darkhorse.

    drpottsiv thumbnail
drpottsiv I do love A New Wave, it's got an uplifting sound and is so much fun to sing to.

But my favorite is still the opening track, Price Tag. It rocks hard, the riffs and drums are fun and Corin's voice is so powerful, I love it so much! Favorite track: A New Wave.
    pushtree thumbnail
pushtree It's the grrls. What else can I say. Favorite track: Surface Envy.
    hilltop thumbnail
hilltop I love sleather Kinney and while this album has gotten rave reviews for 2015 its not at the top of my lists, but still a great comeback album.

casarojo Love this live set!! Looking forward to the show in ABQ!
    nofatclips thumbnail
nofatclips For those who didn't catch the original formation live, it doesn't get better than this to experience their sound in a live setting. Favorite track: No Cities to Love (Live).
    euphratean thumbnail
euphratean The harmonies sung on "Oh!" make the song sound completely reinvented. One Beat was a great album for Carrie but to me it was Corin's worst vocal performance. I also would rather play this than The Woods which was too fucking loud. Favorite track: Oh! (Live).
    rottenspoon thumbnail
rottenspoon Grrrls! I love your music.
