    Laru Larae thumbnail
Laru Larae Church bells are incredibly underutilized for this sort of music and I love it Favorite track: Ascension.
    prouflon thumbnail
prouflon Really doing a lot with the synthwave aesthetic, while staying very much within genre bounds! Favorite track: Cycle.
    dollstaff thumbnail
dollstaff amazing album i really love the vibe it brings Favorite track: Underworld.
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 very reminiscent of Hyper Light Drifter. a lofi synthwave adventure of an immortal warrior trying to kill God with a sword. Favorite track: Underworld.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: our whole lives in this moment.

ribombitch This album is as powerful now as it was when it first dropped. Already own it physically, but needed to have it on the go as well. Can never have too much of these gents. Favorite track: Götterdämmerung.
    hollowpie thumbnail
hollowpie leur meilleur album selon moi mais tout est bon alors... bravo pour cette potion magique ! Favorite track: Hold Your Head Low.
    Gill Squeezer thumbnail
Gill Squeezer Zeal & Ardor may be the best band ever created in all facets. This is what music is meant to be and all other bands should look at Zeal & Ardor as an example of what they should strive to be! I love these guys! Favorite track: Run.

    tr_🇺🇦 thumbnail
tr_🇺🇦 Hardly any vocals this time. Lowering is killing it yet again. Some standout tracks in an excellent compilation of two hours:
    Shadowed silhouette: soothing
    Joel Fausto: sepulchral choirs
Them teeth (1st track): a bit noisy, tribal drums
Deathtrip: heaviest track, brain melting guitar
    Black House: most electronic track
Music of the devil: spooky and apocalyptic. That siren, a fitting end Favorite track: Lowering - A White Cat.

an_absurdly_generic_name I really really liked the opener. It's a damn epic pile of bangers. Favorite track: 25.
    deya_ thumbnail
deya_ It's the album one! Adore this entire record, but my heart lies with Jerusalem (Worst Nightmare). An anthem of marginalization and the absurd paranoias it puts you on the receiving end of. Favorite track: Jerusalem (Worst Nightmare).
    shleeable thumbnail
shleeable "Pretty trash machine". A treat for the ears & soul. Surfs from melancholy pop synth dance into indie (industrial-adjacent) bangers. Favorite track: We Called Home.

trollfi3nd The post-punk Sisters of Mercy vibe connects so hard with raw bludgeoning black metal. A twisted fucking delight; whodduhthunk? Favorite track: Reduced To Submission And Slavery.

    Metallurgical Fire thumbnail
Metallurgical Fire This is arguably the most compositionally interesting and maturely written album the genre has seen. There is no shock value here at all, except for the quality of the songwriting and playing. It’s the Rush of black metal. Someone will inevitably put a post- or a -gaze on it. No need for that, although there are so many influences from other genres it’s hard to ignore. Favorite track: The Quiet Current.
    JDMP thumbnail
JDMP this is the sort of shit that just really hits you like a freight train. perhaps one of the best black metal acts to do it in recent times. and, to boot, does this record not sound like the impassioned cry of a world in pain?
    Metalhamster thumbnail
Metalhamster This is going to be a classic, folks. Easily AOTY, likely one of the best BM albums of the decade.

misterguff The low note on it used to matter perfectly harmonized with my orbital sander while I was sanding. 10/10 Favorite track: Detonator.
    Taylor Smith thumbnail
Taylor Smith This is the Mr. Hyde of the previous album. Subwoofer required. I Won't Let You Go, originally from the stacked Cyberpunk 2077 in-game-radio soundtrack, fits right in. Favorite track: It Only Gets Worse.

    Tom Colquhoun thumbnail
Tom Colquhoun The absolute shame of being a fan of alternative music and only discovering Fohr after her 8th goddamn album. Jesus. Where was she before this, or to be more blunt where was I?
At times this album gives pure Lynch; tenderness and sentimentality twisted to devastating and dreamlike effect. And at others, dark and writhing synths and growls almost hint at nu-metal. And throughout, WHAT A FUCKING VOICE. Creatively, and, you know, literally. I feel this one in my marrow. I've got catching up to do. Favorite track: Truth.
    Jabe Ledoux thumbnail
Jabe Ledoux truth is just imagination- right on Favorite track: Truth.
    emilot thumbnail
emilot Beautiful motives to the background. Excellent minimal chaotic choices and melodic. Thank you! Favorite track: Megaloner.
