256 Pi / The Wonky Angle idk why but I got the same feeling listening to this that I did to hearing Yu Su's "Yellow River Blue"? definitely one of the more unique-sounding electronic-jazz crossovers I've heard this year, very nice Favorite track: City in a City.

    David Binney thumbnail
David Binney This is a great album. Very personal. Gets to the essence of what emotional music is and should be, imo. I love the production too. The production serves the emotionality of the music. And the emotion isn’t lost on the instrumental tracks. The thread continues. As a matter of fact, the piano playing is one of my favorite aspects of it all. Beautiful work.

Thanks to my friend Tommy Crane for telling me about it. Favorite track: Through The Feeling.
    magoski thumbnail
magoski I made my house with
    dreams and wants
    I stand alone
    under
    open sky. and Silence.
They say the stars cannot alter their course.
That their paths are locked since birth
    But I ask you—
If a man knows he will die, does it stop him from loving?
If death is inevitable—why do I feel so alive?

(The stars shimmer. The sky folds inward like fabric.

    I feel so close
    so close
    now

    Leon Frey thumbnail
Leon Frey Fantasia is a modern lullaby, capturing the essence of an aimless afternoon, each track escaping stress and coasting a cosy drift.

It is the music many will find they need most right now.

Joe Madden Dreamy, groovy, mysterious, and absolutely gorgeous in its own ramshackle, homemade way. Upon repeated listens I'm more and more impressed with his singing, snatches of lyrical genius, and some very inventive harmonies.
