Paradises is crazy beautiful, even for Ladytron. It could be their best album to date. Yes, the songs are danceable as advertised, but that does not stop them from being complex pieces of finest art. And it flows and is very coherent in the way that Gravity the Seducer does, but it's somehow even dreamier than it, reminding me of Vangelis's Spiral or Juno Reactor's Contact, and of the science fiction movies from when humanity used to dream about the future rather than dread it.
Favorite track: Solid Light.
