sgdrew Oops! Even though there is a "Buy Digital Album" option available, it'll only give you the one song. I should have read the page closer before buying this. :-(
    dfectiveDtective thumbnail
dfectiveDtective I was shocked, upon initial listen, to find that this is one of LAKE's best albums. Throughout the eleven tracks, LAKE tries new forms and ideas (many of which are woefully cut short), that play with and often leave behind their long-held style of dark chocolate pop; the result is a uniquely experimental LAKE record that often surpasses much of their other work.

Iraviya This album took a while to grow on me, but its unique brutality is strangely beautiful. It's got that fuzzy first-wave sound texture, but the bass guitar is uncompromising and powerful. You don't really hear stuff like this anymore. Favorite track: Deathcrush.

sashavonkarl74 Thank you, the CD arrived, safely, great packaging, much appreciated!

Still can't believe that CD's are even still available for this legendary opus!! Favorite track: Chainsaw Gutsfuck.
    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal IMO this is the alpha and omega of 2nd wave black metal, being a direct link from the 1st wave like Venom and Hellhammer to the classic 2nd wave template. It's perfect in its imperfection, from the random electronic intro by a German musician to the rawer-than-raw tones. Despite the caveman nature of the riffs, the first one is in 5/4, a surprisingly sophisticated opening salvo that helped set the stage for everything afterwards. Favorite track: Deathcrush.

    Tyler McVicker thumbnail
Tyler McVicker Lake is great, I've shown it to every person I know, and use the music once in a while on livestreams. People love it once they hear it, and more need to hear it. I honestly can't wait for any future releases. Favorite track: Dead Beat.
    Alexander Tyler thumbnail
Alexander Tyler LAKE is such a great group. Every album is a wonderful composition of sounds that is both relaxing and musically complex, always unique. Their voices are dulcet tones to my ears Favorite track: Dead Beat.

plangu heggem This really is a fantastic record. The variety in the instrumentation, vocals and songwriting makes the songs stand apart from one another, while still being held together by LAKE's intricate and ethereal style, so that the album works as a whole. Favorite track: One Small Step.

mr_sunnyboi When this album came out, I was in a pretty low place and this album made me feel good. LAKE is my comfort band and I'm glad I found them when I did Favorite track: She Plays One Chord.
    pasha thumbnail
pasha I’d never heard them before and saw them play at Scherler Sundays through my apartment window. The only reason I couldn’t run downstairs and buy a record at the show was because I was in the middle of doing laundry. What a great set though! The vocal and music harmonies on the songs they played off this record resonated with me. Favorite track: She Plays One Chord.
    Neil Paananen thumbnail
Neil Paananen It's the new album I wanted to listen to the most in 2020. Favorite track: Cup Sludge.
