Matmos' greatest talent, and I mean this totally sincerely, is that thy can come up with concepts that sound like cheesy kitsch and spin them out into arresting, jaw-dropping albums. In the hands of any other artist, "record made only with household metal" would be dumb as hell, but these absolutely incredible soundscapes leave me stupefied.
