  4. Diamond Jubilee
    by Cindy Lee
    supported by
    demlet thumbnail
demlet A genuinely stunning album. It begs, almost demands, to be heard in its entirety. There's a cumulative effect that's hard to explain – an induced nostalgia for a time and place that never really was, a heartache for a person who only ever existed in a dream. It's a masterpiece.
    Piroktecnia thumbnail
    Piroktecnia Salvou minha vida.
    thas2s thumbnail
thas2s This album proved to me that Cindy Lee is the most talented / exciting guitarist and project of the decade. This album really does feel like flegel has fully stepped into the persona of Cindy Lee, forgoing a lot of the production of previous albums that were more akin to stuff on women. “Diamond Jubilee” is a musical journey by the artist Cindy Lee, not Patrick flegel. ITS PERFECT! Favorite track: 24/7 Heaven.

    meguzivert thumbnail
meguzivert BCNR without Isaac is still just as emotional but in such a delicate and distinct way. Love these recordings Favorite track: Laughing Song - Live at Bush Hall.
    totallynotarobot thumbnail
totallynotarobot There are only two live albums that I have ever liked: Starless and Bible Black, and Live at Bush Hall. Both are incredibly creative adventures into capturing spontaneity and transcendental experiences; which makes them unlike any other album. In other words, this is incredible. Favorite track: Across The Pond Friend - Live at Bush Hall.

    figurehead thumbnail
figurehead Some of the most beautiful music I heard, and it doesn't lose any strength as I keep listening. The music, and the story behind it, stirs in me strong emotions of melancholia, nostalgia, but also an intimate sense of hope. Favorite track: Nattåg.
    TIPI-M thumbnail
    TIPI-M Wow.
It’s hard to reinvent lofi as so much is already done , but this album does just that, elevates it’s own genre to the next level. Beautiful textures , rhythms, even small movie scores are all present , a totally emotional journey to listen to. I’m in love ! Favorite track: Speak Your Truth.
    jack-chuter thumbnail
jack-chuter I love how carefully Obay pours these melodies onto the tape, which in turn seems to bend under the weight of them. I suspect he's also a total connoisseur in flavours of static/white noise, from light rain to cotton-ball-head-fog. The interference is employed so thoughtfully.

    isaacpaczkowski2000 thumbnail
isaacpaczkowski2000 Classic IDM masterpiece from the Scottish madlads. It truly is a record where all of these disparate genre elements are there (hip hop, electronica, etc) but mixed and layered into something wholly unique. Like a dream being broadcast from a different galaxy. Whilst it's still not my fav BoC record, it's definitely their most important and seminal. 9/10 Favorite track: Rue The Whirl.
    Trevo thumbnail
Trevo Quite good, mmm yes Favorite track: Happy Cycling.
    ribixx thumbnail
ribixx There's a sort of eeriness to this record that somehow manages to transpose some feelings of mine into sound in a way that i have never seen anyone else do before. I'll probably end up buying a MIDI controller soon because of this album. Favorite track: Bocuma.
