  1. The Crystal World: 15th Anniversary Remaster
    by LOCRIAN
    supported by
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian I missed _The Crystal World_ the first time around so am very excited for this remastered release (but I wish it was available on CD!). Equal parts wonder and horror, suffused with a taut, vibrating intensity that is sometimes suspended with hushed, glistening drones and chiming guitars, and periodically pierced with rending screams of terror or ecstasy. Visionary, mysterious, and transporting.

moz138 This is a crucial moment of growth for these amazing artists.

Definitely a classic. Favorite track: Obsidian Facades (15th Anniversary Remaster).

trichgen Seriously off-putting. I love it.
    JAH thumbnail
JAH This is the first JK Flesh album I've absolutely loved. It's Basic Channel, Detroit and Birmingham techno with a power electronics-informed grittiness and intensity that is all JKB. Also, while it is brilliantly crafted and texturally interesting, it also has a raw, tossed-off quality, as if it were recorded live. Favorite track: Genetics.
    CavernousCarnage213 thumbnail
CavernousCarnage213 Throbbing dark dismal Industrial Techno. As usual, Justin doesn't just nail it.....he fucking obliterated it. Pure genius.

Deus Replikant The more minimalist and colder sister project to hiding place. The album has a lot of a great songs but as a whole it's a great project and a great listen. Favorite track: Suzerain feat. Fielded.
    enarteloc58 thumbnail
enarteloc58 This album has been a daily play for me since it came out. Immaculate project 👌 Favorite track: Windhoek feat. Mach Hommy.
    Spivkurl thumbnail
Spivkurl One of the most pleasurable albums I have heard, ever. When I first heard it, I felt like it was about the people I knew and the life I had been living. I can barely stand a day without listening to this in it's entirety. When I am desperate to turn despair, anger or depression into creativity and inspiration, this album will help. Hard to chose a fave, but Suzerain feat. Fielded makes me think lovingly of my wife, and it makes me want to cut things up. One of my favorite albums of the decade. Favorite track: Suzerain feat. Fielded.
